Answer is A.
The frequency of the light doesn't actually change when the light crosses a boundary, only the wavelength does. Thus n=c/v=c/(fλ) and is thus inversely proportional to the wavelength.
In this case, refractive index n=1.5 and frequency f=5×1014Hz.
Velocity of light is 3×108m/s.
Substituting these values in n=c/(fλ), we get,
1.5=3×108m/s / (5×1014Hz × λ).
Therefore, λ=0.4×106=4000˚A.
Hence, the wavelength will become 4000˚A.
