m=240kg

Density, ρ=s×103kg/m3

where, s= specific gravity

If M is the mass of iceberg in kg, then the volume,

V=M0.9×103m3

The weight of displaced water, W=V×1.02×103kg

From free body diagram,

mg+Mg=Wg

m+M=V×1.02×103kg

m+M=M0.9×1031.02×103

m+M=1.133M. . . . .(1)

M=1800kg

The correct option is C.
