The reaction involved is
2NaHCO3Na2CO3+CO2+H2O1
Here the loss in weight of NaHCO3 occurs due to CO2+H2OMainpoint
We know,
Molar mass of NaHCO3=2×84=168gms [1]
Also mass of H2O+CO2=18g+44g=62gms [1]
