Charge on capacitor Q=CV, where V= potential difference .
  • After inserting dielectric of dielectric constant k , capacitance becomes kC where k>1 .
  • Thus, when dielectric is inserted, capacitance will increase, and voltage will remain same as the same cell is still connected .
  • Hence, charge will increase.
Hence, correct option is (C).
