When a user delete a file, empties the recycle bin, associated entries in the FAT are removed to the file.
When you first delete a file on a computer, it is moved to the computer's recycle bin, trash, or something similar depending on your operating system. When something is sent to the recycle bin or trash, the icon changes to indicate it contains files and if needed allows you to recover a deleted file.
When files are deleted from the recycle bin, or after shift del, the actual data of deleted files are still there, they are still on the PC. Just that the file entries are deleted, and hence files are not accessible. However, if you want to recover deleted files, it is still possible with data recovery software.
When you delete a file from your computer, it moves to the windows recycle bin. We empty the recycle bin and the file is permanently erased from the hard drive.
