Question

When acid reacts with base salt is formed. But when an acidic substance reacts with another acidic substance, is an insoluble salt or precipitate formed? Because it is written that CuSO4 acidified with dilute HCl reacts with hydrogen sulphide gas (acidic in nature) to produce a precipitate called CuS.
