Let f be the focal length of the mirror.

Using mirror equation , magnification (m) from a concave mirror is given by

m=ffu

For real image, object distance u1>f

For a concave mirror, a real object produces a real and inverted image.

m=ffu1 .....(1)

For virtual image , object distance u2<f

+m=ffu2 .....(2)

From Eqs.(1) and (2)

ffu2=ffu1f=u1+u22

Hence, option (c) is the correct answer.
