Solution

In all these cases, meiosis is sporic and occurs at the time of asexual reproduction. It produces haploid spores. In liverworts and mosses it occurs in spore mother cells found in capsule. In ferns, it occurs in spore mother ceils, found in sporangia. In Gymnosperms, it occurs in microsporangium and megasporangium to produce niicrospores (pollen grains) and megaspore. Similarly in angiosperms, meiosis occurs in microsporangium of anther and megasporangium of ovule.
