a. Adivasi communities having their unique distinct identity and represent different culture all together.
b. They have retained the glory of their rich past and culture not in conformity with modern day living.

c. Adivasis believed in their own set of traditions, customs and religious practises.
d. Adivasis in the pre colonial time, were basically hunter gatherers and nomads.
e. They survived on forest products, practised shifting cultivation and wandered from place to place.
f. They were also involved in killing and hunting of animals.
g. This was their way of living which was in harmony with nature.
h. However, during colonial regime, with forest acts, and policy changes these adivasis were forced to search for alternate jobs.
i. Many of them were involved in plantations.
