Chemical change:

  1. So basically, when any substance or an object undergoes any change which changes its chemical composition or forms the new substance then this type of change is known as the Chemical change.
  2. When a baking soda is mixed with the lemon juice then Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas is released in the form of bubbles.
  3. As the chemical composition of the substance is getting changed and as the new product is formed by the mixing.
  4. Therefore, it is a Chemical change.
