Question

When can we say that the pressure is getting equally divided?

Open in App
Solution

Pressure = force/ area, so if the same force is divided into two same areas, we can say that the pressure is getting equally divided. for example- car's load is divided onto four wheels . all wheels are the same and have the same area, so the pressure of car's load would be equally divided on all wheels. same way , a roof is supported by four pillars then pressure of roof load would be divided equally on each pillar.
