Solution

DEAR STUDENT ,
ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION
1) THE CELL BECOME TURGID WHEN A PLANT CELL IS PLACED IN HYPOTONIC SOLUTION AND WATER ENTERS INTO LARGE VACUOLES BY OSMOSIS THEREFORE LARGE CENTRAL VACUOLE EXPANDS AND SWELL UP.
2) BUT ANIMAL CELL KEPT IN HYPOTONIC SOLUTION THEN FIRSTLY CELL SWELL AND AFTER SOMETIME THEY BURST.
3) DEAR STUDENT THE ABOVE STATEMENT EXPLAINS THE PRINCIPLE OSMOSIS
(MOVEMENT OF SOLVENT FROM LOW CONCENTRATED SOLUTION TO HIGH CONCENTRATED SOLUTION THROUGH SEMI-PERMEABLE MEMBRANE UNTIL THE SOLVENT MOLECULES ON BOTH SIDES OF MEMBRANE BECOMES EQUAL.
