Solution

The correct option is A 1 mole
CrCl3 + NaOHCr(OH)3 + NaCl(aq)
Products has 3 moles of oxygen, so reactant NaOH should have coefficient 3.
CrCl3 + 3NaOHCr(OH)3 + NaCl(aq)
As reactants has 3 moles of chlorine, product NaCl should have coefficient 3.
CrCl3 + 3NaOHCr(OH)3 + 3NaCl(aq)
So, 1 mole of CrCl3 should produce 1 mole of Cr(OH)3.
