Solution

The correct option is A 10th July 1806
The Vellore mutiny on 10 July 1806 was the first instance of a large-scale and violent mutiny by Indian sepoys against the East India Company. Vellore Fort is best known for the brief but violent mutiny there in 1806 by the East India Company's sepoys. Soon after the rebels took control of the Vellore fort on 10 July, they hoisted the flag of Tipu Sultan on the fort and Moizuddin promised to double the salary of the sepoys when the rebellion was completed.
