b. The war took place between 1939- 1945. The war during that period continued and was fought in various arenas. between 1 September 1939 – 2 September 1945.
c. Main countries involved were Allied Powers- US, Britain, France and the Soviet Union and the Axis Powers- Germany, Italy and Japan
