When does population reach its carrying capacity?
Mortality rate = Birth rate
Carrying capacity is the number of organisms of a population that can be sustained indefinitely sustained in an ecosystem. It is the environment's maximal load. An ecosystem's carrying capacity for a particular species may be influenced by factors like its ability to regenerate the food, water, atmosphere, and other necessities that the organisms need to survive. In a growing population, carrying capacity is attained when the population reaches a constant level i.e when the mortality rate is equal to the birth rate.
