Solution

The correct option is A Sodium dichromate
FeCr2O4 from Chromite ore is fused with Sodium Carbonate in the presence of air/oxygen to give Sodium Chromate, Iron (III) Oxide and CO2.
4FeCr2O4+8Na2CO3+7O28Na2CrO4+2Fe2O3+8CO2
In the above equation, if we add water to the products, Sodium Chromate gets completely ionized while Iron (III) Oxide is insoluble. The yellow solution of sodium chromate is filtered and acidified with acid so that orange sodium dichromate Na2Cr2O7.2H2O crystallizes out.
2Na2CrO4+2H+Na2Cr2O7+2Na++H2O
