Solution

Two tests for colourless liquid (water):
Litmus paper test:
Since water is a colourless and neutral liquid, it will have pH around 7.
It does not show colour change with both blue as well as red litmus paper.

Copper sulphate test:
Anhydrous copper sulphate (CuSO4) is white while hydrated copper sulphate (CuSO4.5H2O) is blue.

On adding the colorless liquid produced in this experiment, it turns blue proving that the liquid is water.
