Question

When a zener diode is operated in forward biased then

Open in App
Solution

  1. Zener diodes are made in such a way that they limit voltage in the reverse bias condition.
  2. But in forwarding bias conditions, they just behave as a normal semiconductor diode.

Hence, a Zener diode in its forward bias behaves like a normal p-n junction diode.
