Solution

All matter is made up of minute particles. Atoms are considered to be the tiniest particles that cannot be divided further. The term 'atom' is derived from a greek word 'atoms' which means 'indivisible'. Atoms can, however, be broken into smaller particles: electrons, protons, and neutrons. But, the atom is the smallest particle which has the property of the element. Hence, atoms are the tiniest particles of a matter.
