In NH3,HNH bond was 107.8o which is less than the regular tetrahedral due to lpbp repulsion. When NH3 reacts with HCl.NH+4Cl is formed where NH4 is having tetrahedral geometry without any lone pair, hence the HNH bond angle inceases from 107.8% to 109.5%
