Solution

The correct option is A [Co(NH3)6]Cl3
In the given complex compound the chlorine present within the coordination sphere won't react with AgNO3. However Chlorine present outside the coordination sphere reacts with the AgNO3 and produces AgCl.

When one mole of each of the following complexes is treated with excess of AgNO3, [Co(NH3)6]Cl3 will give maximum amount of AgCl.

[Co(NH3)6]Cl3+3AgNO3[Co(NH3)6](NO3)3+3AgCl

[Co(NH3)6]Cl3 gives 3 moles of AgCl.

[Co(NH3)5Cl]Cl2 gives 2 moles of AgCl.

[Co(NH3)4Cl2]Cl gives 1 mole of AgCl.

[Co(NH3)3Cl3] will not give AgCl.

Hence, option A is the correct answer.
