1. On reaction with Zinc metal, hydrogen gas is liberated which is a colourless one.
Zn + 2 HCl ------> ZnCl2 + H2
2. On reaction with Sodium carbonate dil HCl liberates Carbondioxide which turns lime water milky.
2HCl + Na2CO3 ------> 2 NaCl + CO2 + H2O
Ca(OH)2 + CO2 ------> CaCO3 + H2O
