Let Rupa age = $x$

Her father age = $y$

When Rupa age = $0$, then father age = $25$

this mean

$x=0,y=25$

$(x,y)=(0,25)$

and from now onwards

$y-x=25$ ( age increases of both person, diff. remains constant.)

From graph

(i) The age of the father when Rupa is 25 years old.

at $x=25$ $y=50$

(ii) Rupa's age when her father is 40 years old.

at $y=40$ $x=15$
