Solution

The longitudinal and latitudinal extent is same .i.e 30 degrees but still there is variation because due to the nature of lines(latitude and longitude)where distance between two latitudes is same because they are parallel to each other and shape and area does not alter the distance ,where as the distance between the two longitudes vary because they are not parallel to each other. At equator there is maximum distance between the longitudes than poles where it is minimum.
