When sulphuric acid is called the king of acids and it is used in car battery why don't it burn the battery when it burns everything that comes in contact with it

The acid used in car is in very diluted form.Diluted means the acids strength is very much reduced by addition of water in it. since diluted sulphuric acid is used it does not burn the battery hence the acid is weakned by adding water in it. you will perform practicals in higher classes usind dilute sulphuric acid.
