Polarizing angle, ip=60

When an unpolarized light is incident at polarizing angle (ip) on a transparent medium of refractive index μ then the reflected light is completely polarized and from Brewster's law,

μ=tanip=tan(60)=3

From the definition of refractive index
μ=cv

3=3×108v

v=3×108 m/s
