When a balloon is inflated with air and its mouth is closed, the air pressure inside it will be more as compared to the air pressure outside. When the mouth of the balloon is opened, due to this air pressure difference, the air molecules start moving from a higher pressure region to a lower pressure region. Hence, the air that was blown into the balloon will escape.
