The correct option is C 44% increase
Here we just think that price of 100 chairs=Rs. 100, as well as price, reduce

=20100×100=20=10020=Rs. 80

On the other hand, chairs sale also increased =80100×100=100+80=180 chairs.

So, the effect on sales rupees

=80180×100

=0.44×100

=44% increase

Hence, this is the answer.
