The correct option is C Only (ii) and (iii)

You need to remember a key thing here that, whenever the switch is in OFF position,
the circuit is getting broken at that point. That means there is a discontinuity in the loop.
Whereas, if the switch gets closed the loop around the circuit becomes continuous.
Therefore, we can conclude that the circuit is open in the given scenario.
Also, we know that electric current is caused by the flow of electric charges through a conductor.
But for the electric charges to flow smoothly, a conducting material is required.
Whereas in the given situation, the circuit is getting broken. That means electric charge will not be able to flow throughout.
