Let the unknown angle be $x^{\circ}$

Supplement of $45^{\circ}$ is $135^{\circ}$ .

Twice the unknown angle is $2 x^{\circ}$ .

So, $2 x^{\circ} + 45^{\circ} = 135^{\circ}$

$2 x^{\circ} = 90^{\circ}$
