The correct option is B 2 ohm
Let voltage of each cell is = E, internal resistance of each cell is = r
When cells are in series-
Effective voltage of circuit = E+E=2E
And effective resistance of circuit = r+r+2=2(1+r)
Current I1=E(1+r)
When cells are in parallel-
Effective voltage of circuit = E
Effective resistance of circuit = r||r+2 = r2+2=r+42
Current I2=2Er+4

As I1=I2 E(1+r)=2E(r+4)r=2Ω
