The correct option is Af+ν Let f0 be the initial frequency of fork B. Number of beats heard per second is ν, when fork A and B are sounded together. ⇒fB=|fA−f0|=v ⇒f0=f+ν or f−ν When fork B is loaded with wax, its frequency decreases.
