When was the first jute mill set up and by whom?

Dear sutdent,

The first jute mill was established at Rishra, on the River Hooghly near Calcutta in 1855 by Mr. George Acland.
However, Sir Seth Hukumchand set up the first Indian jute mill in Calcutta in 1917.
