When was the recent economic census conducted in India?

The last economic census was conducted in 2019. The first economic census was conducted in 1977. For the first time, the entire Census was conducted on a digital platform by the use of an application which will ensure high accuracy and data security. The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has tied up with CSC e-Governance Service for the 7th Economic Census.
