at zero path difference,maximum intensity =K is obtained.
at path difference Δx=λ/4 phase difference =(δ) is :- δ=2πλΔx=2πλ=λ4=π/2
thus intensity that point will be :-K=Kcos2δ/2
[assuming both sources emit light of equal intensity]
K=Kcos2(π4)
=K2 (Ans)
