For ex.,C2H6 - has the structure of CH3 - CH3.If the given compound satisfies the formula CnH2n, it represents the alkenes and alkenes are having double bond . For ex.,C2H4 - has the structure of CH2 =CH2If the given compound satisfies the formula CnH2n-2, it represents the alkynes and alkynes are having triple bond .
