Question

When we put a charge inside hollow metallic shell we say that the electric field is not zero as the gaussian surface is drawn just including charge kept but if we talk about whole shell from inside we can see that the sum of the charge kept inside the shell and induced charge on inner surface of shell due to that charge kept is zero so which case to consider when it is asked whether electric field is zero or not inside the shell ? And also is net electric field different from just electric field
