when we say like sodium is reabsorbed by pct, does sodium comes inside pct or it gets out of pct

Proximal convulated tubule has a role in re-absorption of sodium and potassium ions so sodium moves inside PCT. It is lined by a simple cuboidal brush border epithelium which increases the surface area for absorption.
