Question

When we take vaccine , it takes little time for our immune system to learn the disease. But if a person gets a disease after few days maybe 1 week after taking the vaccine , can the person's immune system defence the disease?

Solution

When a person is vaccinated, he/she will develop antibodies that will fight against the infection. If a person is already vaccinated against a particular disease with which he/she later on may encounter, the body immune system will protect the person from a disease. So in this case also, the body immune system will protect a person from a disease, but the effect of that vaccine may be less as compared to when a person has long before been vacinated.
