Solution
Wheatstone bridge:
A four-resistance configuration is coupled to create the arms of a quadrilateral. A battery and a galvanometer have been linked along each of its two diagonals.
The Wheatstone bridge performs upon that concept of null deflection, which means that their resistance ratios are equivalent and therefore no current travels through the galvanometer.
Whenever the bridge is in balance, no current flows through the galvanometer since the potential difference between these two endpoints of the galvanometer is equivalent.
Therefore, in a balanced wheat stone bridge, the current in the galvanometer is zero.
