Let us consider the hidden number be $x.$

Product of $32$ and $50$ is divided by $x$i.e.

$=\frac{50\times 32}{x}$

When product of $50$ and $32$ is divided by $x$ the result is $40.$

$\frac{50\times 32}{x}$$=40$

$x=\frac{50\times 32}{40}$

$x=\frac{5\times 32}{4}$

$x=5\times 8$

$x=40$

Hence$,$ hidden number printed on the key is $40.$
