When zinc granules react with "dilute sulphuric acid",then bubbles of hydrogen gas evolve. But what will happen if zinc granules react with "concentrated sulphuric acid"?

Dear student,

Concentrated sulphuric acid (H2SO4) is a strong oxidizing agent so it oxidizes the Zinc as follows :
Zn + 2 H2SO4 (conc) → ZnSO4 +2 H2O + SO2

Instead of hydrogen gas, sulphur dioxide gas is released.
