Dear student, The male gonads are the testis, they produce sperms and the hormone called testosterone. Testis, one of a pair of organs located behind the penis in a pouch of skin called the scrotum. Female gonads are the ovaries and they are responsible for producing ova and the hormones such as estrogen and progesterone. They are located in the pelvis, one on each side of the uterus. Regards
