  1. Nucleoproteins are proteins that are linked structurally with nucleic acids, either RNA or DNA.
  2. They are conjugated proteins.
  3. There are of two types ­of nucleoproteins which are enveloped in a nucleoplasm :
  1. Deoxyribonucleoprotein : It is a complex made from DNA and DNA binding protein complex.
  2. Ribonucleoproteins: It is a complex of RNA and RNA binding protein

Synthesis of nucleoproteins: Nucleoproteins are synthesized in the cytoplasm of the cell.
