Gray spot :

  1. Gray spot disease occurs in oats as a result of manganese deficiency.
  2. Their signs and symptoms are the appearances of greyish brown streaks and specks, elongated, interveinal chlorosis, and empty panicles on leaves and stems.
  3. These signals which are seen on the leaves only are irregular, greyish brown lesions that merge and cause the collapsing of a leaf.
  4. It is referred to as a grey speck symptom.
