Testes:

1. The male reproductive system includes testes, external genitalia, i.e. penis and accessory ducts, viz., rete testis, vasa efferentia, epididymis and vas deferens.
2. There are pairs of testes in humans and they are responsible for the production of sperms.

Location: The testes are located exterior to the abdominal cavity in a pouch referred to as the scrotum.
