Where are wavy vascular bundles found?

Open in App
Solution

Vascular bundles:

  1. In vascular plants, a vascular bundle is a component of the transport system.
  2. The transport occurs in the stem, which is divided into two types: xylem and phloem.
  3. Both of these tissues may be found in a vascular bundle, which also contains supporting and protecting tissues.

Wavy vascular bundles:

  1. Wavy vascular bundles are not seen in any of the plants on a permanent basis.
  2. The parenchyma and pericycle cells become meristematic, resulting in a temporary wavy cambial band.
  3. On development, the xylem, and phloem separate to create a full circular ring.
