Where do we find epithelial tissues in animal body?
The covering or protective tissues in the animal body are epithelial tissues. Epithelium covers most organs and cavities within the body. It also forms a barrier to keeping different body systems separate. Epithelial cells form a thin layer of cells known as the endothelium, which is continuous with the inner tissue lining of organs such as the brain, lungs, skin, blood vessels, and heart.
