Fallopian tubes:

  1. The fallopian tubes is the region where sperm meets an egg.
  2. Here, the process of fertilization occurs which results in zygote formation.
  3. During this process thousands of sperm are inseminated into the female vagina but few sperm only will make to enter in fallopian tube.
  4. The fertilized egg then travels to the uterus.
  5. The fallopian tube is differentiated in three parts - infundibulum, ampulla and isthmus.
